| The Seva consortium development project is a partnership between Pakistani Resource Centre, Wai Yin Chinese Womens Society and African and Caribbean Mental Health Services. The Seva consortium development project has employed community development workers (CDW) to work with diverse minority ethnic communities. CDWs based at PRC work specifically with the South Asian Communities (Pakistani, Bangladeshi, Gujarati, Hindu and Sikh). |
| The key purpose of a Community Development Worker is to collectively bring about social change and justice by working with communities. |

- Make recommendations for the development of new services
- Help improve existing mental health services by addressing inequalities and making services more approachable and accessible which are appropriate to diverse and disadvantaged communities
